Come and picnic overlooking our 2 trout dams - we offer a picnic basket for R200 which is adequate for 4 people.

Fordoun
Fordoun is a Five Star boutique hotel, spa, and restaurant situated on large grounds. Experience lovely walks, fly fishing, mountain biking, as well as an indigenous healing plant garden. We offer picnic lunches at R110 per person.

Glensheiling Caravan Park
Peace, quiet and tranquility with stunning views, our facilities include a kiddies jungle gym, beautiful natural bush and forest walks with plenty of bird life. There is a boma with communal braai facilities on the banks of our trout stocked dam, with foofie slide, boat and a raft for your enjoyment. Picnic facilities R10 per person.

Kleinbosch Estate
We have a lovely picnic place in a lapa down by one of our dams - there aren't any ablutions however (if guests can't bear to use the bushes, they can walk or drive up and use the toilets in the shop). NO OPEN FIRES.

Threeways River Getaway
Plenty to do for all ages - animal farm, horses, river activities (fishing included - rods available for hire), 'Berg views and convenient access to main routs and Meander. Catering available (and Tuck Shop) and braai / picnic facilities with ablutions available for day visitors at R15 per person.

St Ives Estate
Enjoy a picnic (provided) beside the trout dam while enjoying a bit of fly fishing...we have awesome picnic spots, lapas around the dam next to the restaurant. Our picnics consist of: Cheese board, Patés, French breads, Garden salad, Cold meats and Chocolate cheese cake (for kids we make hot dogs, pizzas etc.) - all this for R80pp.
